This music example was performed using the Continuum Fingerboard's Internal Sound "Feedback String". The sound was processed, edited, and mixed in Logic Studio, using Logic's Amp Designer, Pedalboard, Delay Designer, and AudioEase's Altiverb. The subtle combination of multiple tracks within a centralized amp simulation in Logic allowed for very precise control of the amount of spectral colouring created by the amp simulation. The Feedback String sound in the Continuum Fingerboard sounds somewhat like an unplugged electric guitar, so can sound naturally good through guitar amp simulations in a DAW. Unlike a guitar, however, the feedback loop is independent and finely controllable for every finger on the Continuum surface, creating opportunities for musically interesting harmonic overload explorations.
